I'M GONNA BE SICK
As the days go by I find myself going from being upset and dismayed that Barack Obama is President of the United States, to actually becoming physically ill every time the thought crosses my mind.
It would be bad enough if he were just an idiot who had no idea what he was doing. We’ve had plenty of presidents like that before (just think of Jimmy Carter). My fear is that this guy knows exactly what he is doing. I believe his goal is nothing less than the radical remaking of the very foundations upon which this country was built.
As I outlined last issue, the key to success in this endeavor is to get the people to follow you. The first tactic of fear is working to perfection. Now they’ve moved on to the next phase, demonization.
As I sit and watch the likes of Congressman Barney Frank, a completely degenerate excuse for a human being, or Chris Dodd, a crook if ever there was one, fulminate and express their ‘moral outrage’ and ‘righteous indignation’ over the bonuses paid to the AIG executives, I see their tactics being played out to perfection.
How is it, that the fact that these two morons in particular are a major part of the reason we’re in this mess - by their insistence on loosening the criteria by which mortgages were written, so that they were given to people who never had any hope of repaying them - is not front-page news in every paper in the country, every day until they’re driven from office in utter disgrace?
You want to know why?
I’ll tell you why. It’s because the pitiful excuse for what we call a free press is marching in lockstep with our new president, in attempting to remake America in their left-wing, socialist image.
Now, to all those of you who are thinking, “Well that’s not so bad. All it means is that the government will have more programs to take care of me,” let me remind you that what the government gives, the government can also take away. Our Founders believed that we are all created equal... endowed by our Creator with inalienable rights... and entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
It is my considered opinion that Barack Obama believes only in himself, believes that whatever individual rights you may have are subsumed into the rights of the collective, and that you are entitled to exactly what he, in his all-knowing beneficence will deign to grant you.
This is a very dangerous man, and I fear greatly for the future of this once-great country. |
