(by Country Yossi)

Hi Everybody,
Hope you had a great summer. As the Yomim Noraim quickly descend upon us we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our readers and listeners and indeed ‘gantz Klal Yisroel’ a happy, healthy, sweet new year. With heavy thoughts of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur on our minds, we also eagerly anticipate the beautiful, colorful holiday of Succos. And this year, Succos is going to be something extra special. Pure Tiyulim invites you to join the celebration for Succos at Disneyland in California, with a luxury Glatt Kosher tour like no other. And to make it even more exciting, inviting and irresistible, Chassidic superstar Lipa Schmeltzer himself will be performing live on stage during Chol Hamoed! You’ll want to bring the whole family for a Yom Tov they’ll never forget. We got all the details for you right here, so call ‘vus shneller.’ You don’t want to miss Mickey and Lipa in the succah together!

This New Year’s edition is jam-packed with outstanding features. Our musical spotlight focuses on the exciting debut of new Jewish singing star Shua Kessin in a probing and revealing interview. Producer extraordinaire Eli Gerstner continues his decade-long winning streak with the release of his new blockbuster hit YBC 4. As usual, he confided all the behind-the-scenes inrigue to us and we promptly pass it on to you. We also spotlight Ateres Chaya: a convenient, elegant and gourmet catering establishment in the heart of Boro Park. One peek at our gorgeous 2-page spread and you’ll be plotzing to call them to book your next simcha!

We also feature a Japanese minister who converted, a fascinating study of the symbols on a dollar bill, a wedding gown that made history (no, not your shvigger’s!) and a special report on Cholov Yisroel milk that will have you sniffing those containers a little more carefully before you drink.

We also expose the potential dangers of a hospital stay in our shocking report: Patients Beware!

Important announcement: You can now follow me on “Twitter” for the latest behind-the-scenes shenanigans on the radio, magazine and cd/dvd fronts. I’ll give you a heads-up on what’s going on, what coming up and what’s going down. Just key in “Country Yossi.”

Wishing you all a ksiva v’chasima tova.
Your friend,
Country Yossi
