The incredible Country Yossi Traveling Radio Road Show moves back to the city for our 9th straight year of music, manic excitement, and mind-boggling mishagos on WMCA 570 AM, Saturday evenings starting at 11:00 pm. Tune in (you might win a shtender from Ezagui Furniture)....An explosion of new releases welcome the New Year, first and foremost of which is our cove rstory's YB and MBC and Yisroel Williger..... Avrohom Fried's burning up the charts with his new "Hupp Cossack" with arrangements by Moshe Laufer.... A fabulous new wedding tape "Once In A Lifetime" with vocals by Moshe Pekkar is impressing a lot of people "in the business"....Last issue's cover artist, Heshy Rubin's "A Word of Peace" features all English lyrics and is filled with a style and sound unique in Jewish music....On the flip side, Yonasson Schwartz's "In Ah Guteh Shoo"is not a well-fitting Florsheim, but a great new production with beautiful Yiddish lyrics....Moshe Antelis deserves kudos for his exciting new TEVA2, but we'll just give him congratulations....SAFAM continues to excel with "After All These Years"....Mendy Wald continues to do well even after 4 months. This newcomer is going places....Caught Sruly Williger in concert this summer. Tremendous stage presence and mass appeal....Coming soon - Chaverim, "Ani Holeich Besimcha".....
